About the training

The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has developed a set of recommendations and guidance to help organisations assess, report and act on their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. Published in September 2023, the TNFD recommendations provide a set of general recommended disclosures structured around four pillars: governance, strategy, risk and impact management, and metrics and targets. They build on the approach pioneered by the TCFD, extending it beyond climate to nature and biodiversity.

To support capital market participants in understanding and implementing nature-related financial disclosures, the UN SSE has partnered with the TNFD and guest experts (including S&P Global) to deliver dedicated training to exchanges and their markets. This training introduces participants to the TNFD recommendations and guidance and highlights practical tools to begin assessing nature-related issues and preparing TNFD-aligned disclosures.

The training workshop was developed with support of and collaboration with UNDP, as part of IKI grant funding from the German Government.

  • Understand how to identify, assess and manage nature-related issues
