(1 June 2018) Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), which has more than 2,200 companies listed on its stock exchange, has become a Partner Exchange of the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative, committing to further promote sustainable and transparent capital markets.
(24 June 2018) Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) has announced signing of a commitment letter with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative, making it the 75th stock exchanges worldwide committed to sharing information and working with stakeholders to promote the sustainability and transparency of capital markets.
(2 July 2018, Milan) For its second year running, Borsa Italiana hosted its Italian Sustainability Day bringing together both issuers and investors to exchange views on ESG strategies, sustainability data and reporting methods. More than 500 participants registered for the event, up from 300 participating in the inaugural event last year.

(29 August 2018) Amman Stock Exchange issued the publication titled “Guidance on Sustainability Reporting”, as fulfillment to its commitment to provide written guidance for its listed companies on ESG reporting.
(4 October 2018) The World Federation of Exchanges has formally launched its “Principles for Sustainable Exchanges” at the WFE Annual Meeting in Athens. These principles mark a major milestone in the evolution of WFE members’ engagement with sustainability.
