SSE co-hosts China Social Investment Forum week
(5 December 2017) The United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative co-hosted the annual China Social investment Forum (SIF) week bringing together over 300 sustainable finance and responsible investment leaders from various sectors to evaluate and discuss world trends and China’s practice.
Japan Stock Exchange Group becomes latest UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges partner
(6 December 2017) The Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) signed on 6 December 2017 a commitment letter announcing its partnership with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative. JPX now joins nearly 70 stock exchanges worldwide committed to sharing information and working with stakeholders to promote the sustainability and transparency of capital markets.
Exchange in Focus: New Zealand fulfills commitment to guide issuers on ESG reporting
(11 December 2017) The New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX Limited) published a guidance note for issuers on environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting, designed to accompany the updated Corporate Governance Code which includes voluntary reporting on ESG information.

(19 December 2017) Building on its commitment to promote sustainable and transparent capital markets as an SSE Partner Exchange, Boursa Kuwait announced the launch of its new voluntary sustainability disclosure guide and held a training session on ESG disclosure on 19 December 2017.
