Japan Stock Exchange Group becomes latest UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges partner

(6 December 2017) The Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) signed on 6 December 2017 a commitment letter announcing its partnership with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative. JPX now joins nearly 70 stock exchanges worldwide committed to sharing information and working with stakeholders to promote the sustainability and transparency of capital markets.

Argentina’s BYMA joins exchanges committed to sustainability

(20 December 2017) The Argentine stock exchange BYMA has signed a commitment letter with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchange (SSE) initiative, joining nearly 70 stock exchanges worldwide committed to sharing information and working with stakeholders to promote the sustainability and transparency of capital markets.

Mongol Securities Exchange becomes SSE Partner Exchange

(15 October 2018) The Mongol Securities Exchange (MSX), a privately owned stock exchange in Mongolia, has made a public commitment to promoting sustainable and transparent capital markets in their country by partnering with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative. MSX is the second Mongolian stock exchange to partner with the SSE.

Exchange in Focus: Quito stock exchange commits to supporting the SDGs

(22 October 2018) The Quito Stock Exchange joined the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative by signing a commitment letter to promote sustainable and transparent capital markets. The SSE initiative was launched by then Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, in 2009, and is organized by UNCTAD, the UN Global Compact, UNEP-FI and the PRI.

Tadawul joins United Nation partnership programme for sustainability

(17 December 2018) Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange, Tadawul, announced its voluntary commitment to promoting sustainable and transparent capital markets in becoming a United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative Partner Stock Exchange. Tadawul is the sole stock exchange in Saudi Arabia and lists over $500bn in market capitalization.
