Key Capital Market Leaders Convene at Largest Sustainable Stock Exchanges Global Dialogue
Santiago - Sarah Bostwick of the United Nations Global Compact, a co-organizer of the SSE, emphasized in her remarks that the very existence of the SSE is a positive indicator of the progress stock exchanges around the world are making to promote corporate sustainability in their markets.
Nairobi- Mr. Geoffrey Odundo, the CEO of the Nairobi Securities Exchange, an SSE Partner Exchange, met with investment experts in Nairobi to prioritize green growth in investments and reshape the investment landscape at the first Regional Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) Africa Conference.

(6 May 2019, Geneva, Switzerland) The United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative hosted a day-long roundtable meeting of the joint SSE and World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) Advisory Group to evaluate how stock exchanges can embed sustainability into business operations.
The National Stock Exchange of Costa Rica released its first Annual Sustainability Review, which symbolizes one more step in its sustainability journey since joining the SSE as a Partner Exchange. The publication illustrates how the National Stock Exchange of Costa Rica has incorporated different strategies and projects to support sustainable development from its capital market.
(September 2019) The National Stock Exchange of Costa Rica (BNV) received the “Green Award”, a recognition for outstanding use of renewable energy. The Stock Exchange is the first in Central America to receive this recognition, representing one more effort that Costa Rica makes to promote sustainable practices in companies.
