A record of over 111 exchanges around the world this year are supporting the tenth annual “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” campaign, to raise awareness about the role and opportunities for the private sector to advance gender equality and sustainable development.

March 7, 2024 – The United States Securities and Exchanges Commission adopted new rules requiring the companies it regulates to disclose climate-related information in their registration statements and annual reports.

 (16 January 2024) In response to demand from SSE Partner Exchanges for support on the new sustainability disclosure standards recently launched by the IFRS Foundation, the SSE and its partners developed a toolkit to help exchanges and market participants. This toolkit includes a new Model Guidance that has been reviewed by the IFRS International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). 

UNEP-FI is pleased to introduce the report Integrated Governance – A new model of governance for sustainability as its newest contribution to the sustainable investment field. Developed in collaboration with leading governance experts from Harvard Business School and UNEP-FI’s Asset Management Working Group (AMWG), it was launched on 16 June at the margins of the International corporate International Corporate Governance Network’s (ICGN) Annual Conference in Amsterdam.

(Geneva, 25 October 2015)  Tunisia’s  stock exchange has made a public commitment to the sustainability and transparency of capital markets in the newly transitioned country by becoming a United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges Partner Exchange.

Shortly after signing its commitment to the initiative, Tunis Stock Exchange CEO Mr. Bilel Sahnoun said they “will be focusing on increasing listed companies’ transparency and commitment to environmental, social and corporate governance issues.”
