Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative celebrates sixth Global Dialogue

(23 October 2018) The United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative hosted the SSE Global Dialogue in Geneva, as part of the UNCTAD World Investment Forum. The Global Dialogue is the SSE’s flagship biennial global gathering, bringing together market leaders to deliberate on current challenges, exchange views on best practices and set the direction of travel for stock exchanges committed to promoting sustainable finance.

IOSCO holds first Sustainable Finance Network Stakeholder Meeting

(19 June 2019, Stockholm) The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) held its first Sustainable Finance Network Stakeholder Meeting in Stockholm as an interchange between securities regulators, standard-setting bodies and the market on sustainable finance. Four panel discussions looked to evaluate the impact on corporate business models and risk management of developing sustainable businesses, the impact of sustainability factors in the investment decision process, corporate reporting for sustainability and the role of security regulators in each of these topics.

Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil launches the Sustainable CVM Series

The Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) launched the “Sustainable CVM Series”, a new series of guidance documents on sustainable finance. In this first volume, the Regulator presents a guide focused on the inclusion of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues with respect to citizen's investment decision making.
