Time: 15:00 (Geneva time)

The second meeting of the UN SSE Gender Equality Focus Group will bring together a select group of international experts in gender equality and sustainability reporting for a closed-door discussion.

Following the group's initial meeting in July 2024, which informed the development of the UN SSE’s Gender Equality Metrics Report launched in December 2024, this session will focus on the next phase of the initiative. Participants will review and discuss preliminary findings from a new analysis of gender-related reporting taxonomies and metrics used across major sustainability standards, including the ESRS, GRI, and IFRS frameworks.

The objective of this ongoing work is to support and strengthen existing standards by offering insights that improve consistency and clarity in the use of gender equality metrics—without creating new reporting frameworks.

This event is held under Chatham House Rule and is by invitation only. If you want to find out more, please contact the SSE team at [email protected]
