Euronext announced the launch of a new suite of ESG-focused products, services and initiatives, designed to provide a robust framework of tools for European capital markets to fuel sustainable growth. Stock exchanges welcome new ISSB Standards; UN SSE announces related capacity building activities

The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) this week launched two inaugural sustainability disclosure standards to meet the information needs of capital market participants, one focused on general disclosure requirements and one focused on climate-related disclosures. Stock exchanges are holding launch events around the world to introduce their markets to these new standards.

Dr. Grabski spoke about the role of capital markets in building capacity to facilitate the transition to a zero-emissions economy, highlighting the importance of convergence of standards with built-in flexibility for local adaptation.
