Doha, Qatar, 25 October 2026 — Henry Fernandez, Chairman and CEO of MSCI, delivered a keynote address to an international audience at the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Executive Dialogue in Doha, Qatar, highlighting how the world has entered a new epoch of non-traditional risk. He emphasized that what has traditionally been understood as sustainability or ESG information has evolved into a more complex array of data, which he described as “structural intelligence”—critical for investors and corporate leaders seeking to understand the true risks and opportunities facing companies and industries today.
The Executive Dialogue, convened by the UN SSE during the 9th UNCTAD World Investment Forum on 25 October 2026, brought together stock exchange leaders and capital-market experts to exchange practical experiences and explore how financial markets can advance sustainable finance and sustainable development.
