It is also a Self Regulatory Organisation under the Securities Act Ch. 83:02. We are responsible for developing and administering the rules and guidelines for the operation within the local stock market. These rules and guidelines are followed by the brokerage firms, listed companies and entities listing securities on the Exchange. Settlement, registry, depository and custodial services for securities are provided by our wholly owned subsidiary The Trinidad and Tobago Central Depository Limited.
