WIF 2021: Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development

21 Oct, 2021
Online

For more information, please contact the SSE team.

Companies and investors have a mutual responsibility to preserve and enhance long-term corporate value. In doing so they must focus, not only on aspects relating to a company’s long-term financial value, but also on factors impacting the health of society and the environment too. In essence this is about ‘the governance of sustainability’ and the role of the board in overseeing the integration of human and natural capital management in alignment with a company’s purpose and long-term strategy.

The webinar will take place on 21 October, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (CEST).

About the SSE

The SSE initiative is a UN Partnership Programme organised by UNCTAD, the UN Global Compact, UNEP FI and the PRI. The SSE seeks to achieve this mission through an integrated programme of conducting evidence-based policy analysis, facilitating a network and forum for multi-stakeholder consensus-building, and providing technical assistance and advisory services.
