SSE training featured in FEAS year book

7 June 2023

The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges highlighted its training with the SSE Academy in its 2023 FEAS Annual Yearbook 2022. This Yearbook is a journal that documents FEAS Members and Members’ Countries activities and achievements through a vast compilation of data, statistics and pictures. The FEAS Annual Yearbook 2022 gives an overview of the joint workshops conducted together with the SSE. In collaboration with CDP and IFC, the SSE co-hosted with FEAS two workshops on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) recommendations provided to FEAS Members. This multifaceted and high-quality training is destined for exchanges to distribute to their markets and staff, free of charge.  Between 2021 and 2023, the UN SSE, IFC and CDP joined forces with SSE Partner Exchanges around the world to address a knowledge gap in markets globally on climate-related financial disclosures. Following the publication of the SSE’s 2021 Action Plan on Creating Climate Resilient Markets, which highlighted training market participants as a main action point, there was great demand from stock exchanges to assist with such training.  The UN SSE wrapped up the TCFD training in March but will continue to provide markets with relevant training on ESG topics. For more information on future training please visit the SSE Academy events page or subscribe to the SSE newsletter. See the full FEAS Annual Yearbook 2022 here.

About the SSE

The SSE initiative is a UN Partnership Programme organised by UNCTAD, the UN Global Compact, UNEP FI and the PRI. The SSE’s mission is to provide a global platform for exploring how exchanges, in collaboration with investors, companies (issuers), regulators, policymakers and relevant international organizations, can enhance performance on ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) issues and encourage sustainable investment, including the financing of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The SSE seeks to achieve this mission through an integrated programme of conducting evidence-based policy analysis, facilitating a network and forum for multi-stakeholder consensus-building, and providing technical assistance and advisory services.
